Crosby United fORWARD pLAN +
This section identifies how the club plans to retain and grow provision and develop flexible club formats that will support existing players and introduce new male, female and players with a disability and from diverse communities into football.
Part of our plan has included the improvement of facilities and increase footfall.

Increasing Our Reach
Training Area
The replacement of the old hard standing and overgrown training area. This confined and restricted our ability to provide up to date and attractive training facilities, limiting our reach into the community. This resulted from 3 successful funding applications into Football Foundation, FCC Communities, and North Lincolnshire Council. This took 3 years voluntary commitment and has already provided the very latest in facilities to compliment the new playing pitches.
Snack Shack/Den
Teas, coffees, soft drinks & sweets available on match days. Run by the youth council.
Grass Pitch Improvement
Grass Pitch improvement. 2023 saw a successful application into the football Foundation to improve the grass pitches over the next 5 – 6 years.
Improving Facilities
Improve wellbeing, education, refreshment and changing facilities. In 2023 Crosby United went into partnership with Rubiks and are currently collaborating on a wellbeing facility for young people and the community, at the home of Foxhills Sports ground.
Our Aim
To retain and expand the opportunities for different age groups, genders and abilities to play and organised football.

Objectives
Retain all existing teams by ensuring excellent support and facilities to team managers, coaches and volunteers. Extend the playing opportunities by a programme of phased expansion to provide at least 1 side at all junior’s age groups (7-16) all existing teams retain.
Continue the grass roots introduction to football by recruiting at least 1 under 7 teams per year with new players, managers, coaches and support staff. Continue to develop girls football by recruiting new teams
To develop our school/club links with 5 primary schools and 2 secondary schools and one technical college in order to provide quality coaching, promote our club and recruit new players to squads where necessary and appropriate.
Develop a new comprehensive girls’ section by recruiting new female players through general promotion and our connection with schools and by advertising and recruiting for managers, coaches and support staff.
Ensure all youth players are able to continue playing football by developing and maintaining development football and into senior teams.
Develop disability football teams through our links with disability groups and schools in furtherance of our vision to make the Club totally inclusive.
Establish in conjunction with our partners futsal teams at U 16, adult male and adult female to accommodate those who do not wish to follow the more conventional football route. Be part of developing a futsal league to enable these teams to compete competitively with a view of developing more teams in future plas.
Ensure that all new teams are staffed with appropriate managers, coaches and volunteers.
